Background

Wardell Stephen Curry II was born on March 14,1988. He currently plays for the Golden State Warriors in the National Basketball Association(NBA). He is very well known for his shooting skills after his 2012-13 regular and post season performance.

As a college student, Curry played for Davidson College from 2006-2009. During the 2008-09 season, he became a consensus first-team All-American after averaging 28.6 points per game. This was the best in the nation. In 2009, he was round 1 pick for the Golden State Warriors and he has stayed with the team since then. In the 2012-13 season, Curry set the record for most three pointers made with 272 three pointers.

Steph Curry is the former son of NBA legend,Dell Curry, and Volleyball prospect, Sonya Curry. Him and his father appeared in a Burger King commercial when he was at a young age. Currently he lives in Oakland, California. On July 30, 2011, Curry married Ayesha Alexander and in 2012 their daughter, Riley was born. Curry is a a devout Christian and on has Bible verses on his shoes.

They have won the NBA Championships twice in the years 1956 and 1975. The also have won 6 Conference titles and 2 Division titles. Their primary colors are Royal Blue and Golden Yellow.
